  • 1.  Server ID werden bei einigen Servern nicht angezeigt

    ILMT hat die Version 9.2.31 und der BIGFIX 10.0.9.21 . Die Server ID wird bei manchen Servern nicht übermittelt, deshalb haben wir ein Update vom Bigfix durchgeführt aber ohne Erfolg. Außerdem den Server aus dem Bigfix entfernt und neu eingebunden . Nach erneutem Scan und Import aus ILMT bestand das Problem immer noch . Hat jemand eine IDEE

    Good Day Heike,

    By default, 'Server ID' value is never taken directly from BIGFIX agent.
    That value is collected from hypervisor (if the machine is a VM) or by means of HW scanner (if the machine is a physical).
    So, depending on the machine's type you would have to check the tlm_hw_xxx.xml or vmman_scan_xxx.xml file content to find out the what is populated into 'Server ID' column (%VENDOR %TYPE etc).

    I'm afraid that you'd have to open up the support ticket to us as we will not solve this without exchanging different logs & traces.

    Please also look at my reply to 'Truncate Server ID field to remove the domain from the FQDN' thread posted about two weeks ago explaining how 'Server ID' column is constructed.

    Hi Heike,  does the Hardware Inventory report show those affected virtual servers in question with "NO VM Manager Data" under "Status" column and  "Server ID" column also reports "TLM_VM…xxxxxxx".    You could also share sample output screenshot to better understand the issue.   As Oktawian indicated that Server ID information is coming from the VM Manager Tools scan results.   Ensure you have the hyervisor host server information configured in the VM Managers page in ILMT portal.
