Are there any efforts under way to make documentation for Spectrum Protect more reliable? I often have the choice of opening a ticket with support or searching the internet on my own for threads. An example would be for the server implementation where the Windows documentation was a copy and paste of the path information for Unix/Linux – which I made sure to note on the site.

Thank you very much for taking the time to comment and alert us to the issue with an incorrect topic appearing on the Windows platform.  It is quite unfortunate that this issue was not caught earlier and we apologize for that inaccurate topic.  We will fix it in an upcoming release. 

On the upside, there are multiple consolidation and improvement initiatives in progress that will help improve the quality of the documentation in the IBM Spectrum Protect library and, we hope, customer satisfaction. We have a hard-working team of engineers and writers working to ensure accuracy in our publications.
