    Announcement:

IBM Sterling Transformation Extender for Red Hat OpenShift 10.1.1 has been made available on November 18, 2022.

The other name for the product is IBM Certified Runtime Server (ITX Runtime Server).

    What are the differences:
    1. Deployment is done via Helm Charts using helm command.  Operator install is no longer available.
    2. There are 2 ways to deploy the container:
    (1) Pulling the container image from IBM Cloud Registry (icr).  During the deployment, a pull image secret with the proper entitlement key is required.
    (2) Pulling the container image from local registry or other registries.  During the deployment, the image will be pulled/downloaded, the entitlement key is also required to log into ICR.  The image will be pushed to local or other registries.
    3. docker or podman commands are supported.

The new container runs in OpenShift V4.8, 4.9, 4.10 and 4.11.   The old container (Operator install) only supports up to V4.8.
The container also supports Kubernetes running in AWS, Azure and Google.

I plan to refresh my video during December.  However the writeups are available for both deployment methods today.   Send me a separate email if you are interested in trying this new container.
