On an IBM partition i want to install a linux partition, but apart from Red Hat and SUSE, what else can I install? In which manual can I learn more about this? in the Create Network Server Desc (CRTNWSD) command you can see that I can install as a guest?

    Hi Miguel,

You want to create a Linux partition guest to an IBM i LPAR.

You can use this old guide (the HMC screens had changed , but the concepts remain)

    https://www.ibm.com/support/pages/create-client-partition-i-aix-or-linux-hosted-ibmi-server-partition-using-hmc-classic-signon

You can install SUSE, RedHat, CentOS, Fedora, Ubuntu, Debian or any other distribution for the PPC64 or PPC64LE, depending on your processor generation.
