    When first introduced in 2007, CP Optimizer was the result of more than 15 years of experience with developing and using CP techniques with ILOG Solver and Scheduler. The modeling concepts were redesigned, especially for scheduling problems, to have a more compact, regular and expressive language. It also introduced robust automatic search. The objective of this presentation is to ease migration from ILOG CP to CP Optimizer. It will build bridges between different concepts and tools used in CP Optimizer and in ILOG CP for modeling and solving combinatorial problems and provide guidelines for migration illustrated on real case studies.
