SPSS 26 gives error message 'processor unavailable' after starting to analyse data (data files are large). Can't work out how to fix it - any suggestions. iMac Pro running Catalina - high spec

Roughly how large (cases * variables) is/are the dataset(s)? (If multiple datasets, are they being matched or added?)
What procedure was running at the time of the crash (if you know)?
How many variables being analyzed?

Have you installed the fixpack for V26?  My recollection is that Catalina broke some things that were addressed there.

I have applied fix packs - it is a very large data set but runs perfectly OK on my old iMac  (OS Sierra) and SPSS 25
