    Hello,

    coming from FileNet P8 world and new in Datacap domain (not in capture), I'm a litte bit surprised that the P8 connector in Datacap integrates only store and index API. So we cannot, using the connector, leverage Datacap functionnalities taking advantage of the IBM world ?

    I fetched a roadmap describing the potential API integration but without success.

    Do you have an idea about this integration ?

    Hi,

    (I've already replied yesterday but writing once more as I cannot see my earlier reply to you here.)

     

    May I kindly ask you to describe what feature(s) you are missing in the current FilenetP8 connector. So I can communicate your identified gap(s) back to our lab development.

     

    The current build in FilenetP8 connector provides a number of capabilities for Upload, Search, Update, Redact and for setting properties and upload/update specifics for a document like: Upload, UploadDir(ectory), UpdateContent, UpdateProperties, CreateFolder, SetProperty, SetDestinationFolder, SetDocClassId, SetFileMimeType, SetMultiValueProperty etc.
     

    In addition to the FilenetP8 connector a CMIS export or WebServices action library can be leveraged as well for this task.

    Hi Stephan,

    as I read the documentation about the FileNet P8 Connector, in the "Data export" chapter, the description says upload and index:


    Because of your previous answer, I parse the detail of the documentation (Connector actions), which is more complete.

    Remark: the new documentation site is not practical, slow and the only search function includes whole IBM documentation.
