  • 1.  ICN Desktop Document Update History

    Hi,

    I must be missing something. 

    I enabled audit logging for updates on the CPE (with object recording level set to both) and configured an ICN desktop to display the history.

    I do see the update event in ICN, but only basic data (who, when which event). I cannot figure out how to display which attribute was modified to what (much like the modified properties field under the General tab in ACCE).

    The screen shots are from some internal training on the audit history facility in ICN

    Have you looked at doing an export with the checkbox marked at the bottom of this screen? Don't know if this is the answer, but seems worth looking at

    Hi Ruth,

    thanks for the effort, but I fear still no go (we have 3.0.11 latest fix) and I'm seeing (remember audit event is set to 'Original and modified objects'.

    When I export (raw or not, just a little difference in time formatting)

    I get:

    What I would expect is something like in acce:

    How is the user supposed to figure out what was changed (without going into acce)?

    The ability to see the modified properties in an audit record was an enhancement made in ICN 3.0.14: https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/content-navigator/3.0.14?topic=navigator-whats-new-in-content-3014#eucao005__title__5

    I did check all the release notes, but this escaped me. Now that I look it is even in the training material... stupid me.
