Chrome and Edge report "Insecure download blocked" when trying to export to Excel

  • 1.  Chrome and Edge report "Insecure download blocked" when trying to export to Excel

    Hello 

    Recently we are no longer able to download reports through Chrome or Edge due to an error that states "insecure download blocked".  I have ensure that both browsers are up to date.  In Chrome you can bypass the message and still download, but I don't think that is possible in Edge.  Any advice?

    We received message "can't be downloaded securely"

    Solution:  In Edge, go to edge://settings/content/insecureContent in Chrome, go to chrome://settings/content/insecureContent. Then click Add next to Allow, to add the site on which to allow insecure content, H360 URL example: http://cognos-h7-xx9.test4.local:80
