Turbo Integration - Controlling Processing State

  • 1.  Turbo Integration - Controlling Processing State

    Hi,

    I have the following situation and I need to know if you have a solution:

    • In my model we developed a process controlling cube, where I can see the process state (Executed Successfully, Executed with Errors or Not Executed), start and finished time execution, user, date and others informations.
    • My customer ask me to create another State (In processing) to show to them when the process is in executing.
    • How the process update the cube just when it finished the execution, I don´t know how to include this new state.
    May you help me?

    Thank you!

    Hi,

    You need to call a sub process that is not tied to the main process.   To do this, you create a new process that is just used to update the process cube with start time and the in progress status.   Then in the main process you call this sub process using:
    RunProcess(ProcessName, [ParamName1, ParamValue1,ParamName2, ParamValue2]);
    This will start a new thread that will update the process control cube and then end.  When you main process finishes it will update the process control with the ending time.
    You can have the sub process do all the updates to the process control cube, but this can cause a lot of extra log messages.

    Good luck!
