  • 1.  Migration of SDS from 6.3 to 6.4

    I have a setup like this:

    Machine A:
    OS version: SLES 11.4
    SDS Version: SDS 6.3.1

    Machine B:
    OS version: RedHat Enterprise 7.6
    SDS Version: SDS 6.4

    I want to migrate all information from Machine A to Machine B. I found the following article:

    I started and it all went well until I should upgrade the schema and configuration using idsimigr. I got the following error:
    GLPCTL106E Failure to load key data from directory server instance configuration key stash file into memory.


    I googled and it is because the two machines have different endianness. Machine A is big endian and Machine B little. So I cannot complete.

    Any one has a solution for this or another way of migrating SDS from Machine A to Machine B?

    you can follow same approach as mentioned in Ram presentation (Upgrade over to system with different endianness)
