  • 1.  Installing tWAS-8x on macOS Ventura, v13.4.1

    Posted Fri June 30, 2023 11:23 AM

    Hello Expert,

I try to download tWAS-8x for macOS Venture, but I could not find one. I did my home work before post this question here, but could not find any useful info.

I do not have any customer account or active IBM license, so 'Passport Advantage Online (PAO)' not an option. My option is free evaluation version.

I used the following links for reference but not working,

    • https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/installation-manager/1.9.2?topic=manager-installation-kit

But this is not working, It would be much appreciated, if you could direct me to the right resource location for this task.

    My request is:

    1. I want to install tWAS on macOS 13.4.1, so please share with me the IBM documentation links for this task
    2. Is tWAS supported in macOS? but could not find one documentation in google search?

My advance thanks  for your valuable time and your expertise in this matter.

    best reagards,

    Prabakar

No, traditional WAS is not supported on MacOS.

You could try the containerized version under docker/podman, depending on your ultimate goal.
