    I am using this forum for the first time.
    I had installed the WAS7.0 binaries and created standalone application server along with WebServer-CLN01 instance. Admin security was disabled. 3 Windows services created, server1, IHS HTTP server, IHS HTTP administrator server
    Later manually enabled the global security and created a user WAS_ADMIN in the file based repostires.
    Then configured LDAP base entry, while creating repositary Indentifier.

    Doubt: bind password was not known, is the bind address required to integrate LDAP with WAS

    Hi nikhilgada,

      If you are using a federate repository, your first user WAS_ADMIN is create in wim (file based repository) and is managed by websphere, then you can add a LDAP and yes you need bind password and other
