Phil Simpson

Phil Simpson is the program director for workflow at IBM, where he oversees the product management teams responsible for IBM’s workflow offerings, including Business Automation Workflow and the Business Automation Open Editions. Prior to IBM, Phil spent the last ten years as product manager for Red Hat’s business automation solutions, and made the transition to IBM along with those products. Phil has a long history with business process and decision technology, beginning as far back as the late 20th century, where he oversaw the creation of an innovative BPM platform at startup RulesPower.

 
 
Tiago Bento

Tiago Bento is a Software Architect at IBM Business Automation Manager Open Editions (BAMOE), tech lead for the BAMOE Tools engineering team, and a committer for Apache KIE—the home of Drools, jBPM, and Kogito. An open-source contributor since 2017, he's currently focused on driving Apache KIE and BAMOE development, refining product strategies, and optimizing software engineering processes, enabling BAMOE to empower enterprises to build, deploy, and evolve business automation solutions in hybrid-cloud environments.

 
Martin Weiler

Martin Weiler is an experienced developer and architect with 20 years of expertise in automation software. He has followed the successful transition of Business Automation Manager Open Editions (BAMOE) from Red Hat to IBM. Throughout his career, he has worked closely with customers to create tailored solutions that drive efficiency and streamline operations. Passionate about optimization and cloud deployments, Martin is dedicated to leveraging cutting-edge technologies to help businesses scale and achieve their goals.

 
Gabriele Cardosi

Gabriele Cardosi is a Principal Software Engineer with decades of experience in the IT domain, starting from system administration to development of leading-edge server, mobile, microservices, BigData, and other kind of applications. He is one of the main contributors of the OS apache-kie community, and moved from RedHat to IBM in the early stage of the BAMOE initiative. Currently, he's the Tech Lead of the Decision team, and his primary tasks are related to the maintenance of the decision engine, the rule engine, and the overall framework that keep all the engines working together.
