The premier community for Maximo enthusiasts across Australia. Born from a merger of state-based Maximo User Groups, AMUG has a rich history of fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing among Maximo users.

Save the date and book your flights! The 17th Vic/Tas Maximo User Group will be held on Friday, 2nd November in Kingston, just outside of Hobart, Tasmania.

The event will be held at the Australian Antarctic Division, Theatrette,203 Channel Hwy, Kingston, Tasmania. This is 32km from the airport, a 30-45 minute drive from Hobart Airport (depending on traffic), or 20 minutes from Hobart city centre.

Confirmed presenters for this event are:

  • Louis Stoop, Technical executive from IBM Singapore who has been working with Maximo since 1995
  • Lisa Stuckless, Strategy and Product Management from IBM Canada, to discuss the Maximo Roadmap
  • Tristan O'Gorman, Lead Product Architect from IBM Ireland, discussing Work Centres and the Inspection module
  • Pam Denny, Senior Analytics Architect from IBM Watson IoT in the US. Pam has a wealth of experience, and will be presenting on Analytics and Reporting in Maximo.
  • Mike AylingGeneral Manager Innovation at Downer. Mike will be sharing a journey into Artificial Intelligence & Maximo, andlessons learnt.
  • Ben Post, from IBM Watson IoT in Perth, WA, talking on using sensor data in Asset Health scores through Edge Analytics and IoT Platform Analytics. Additionally, Ben will be introducing Maximo Asset Performance Management (APM).
  • Mark Rippon and Patrick Kent-Fahey from TasWater, presenting on visualising asset performance data for positive customer outcomes
  • Mehul Majethia, Maximo Architect & Administrator from Australian Antarctic Division, presenting on the challenges and opportunities of using Maximo in Antarctica
  • Zoltan Kelly, Asset Information Improvement Specialist from Melbourne Water, presenting on how MW is using asset condition data to prioritise decisions
