We’re hosting an
AI Engineering Hackathon in Alpharetta on April 22 and thought this might be a fun one for your engineering team to participate in. If you have a few developers or architects who enjoy building things, it could be a good opportunity to form a team and join.
Date: April 22, 2026
Location: 1115 Sanctuary Pkwy, Alpharetta, GA 30009
Registration:
https://ibm.biz/HackathonApril22The focus of the event is
building practical AI agents—not just demos, but approaches that could realistically run in production environments. We’ll start with a short session on some of the challenges teams are running into when they try to operationalize AI agents, and then move into the hands-on hacking portion.
A few reasons people have been interested in joining:
It’s a chance for engineers to
experiment with some of the newer AI engineering patterns that are emerging right now.
The room will have
developers and architects from several Atlanta companies, so it should be a good technical networking environment.
It’s meant to be a
working session, not a conference—teams actually build something during the day and share what they learned.
