Abstract
Announcing a major advancement in Db2 Text Search with version 12.1.5: a
pluggable architecture that supports integration of search engine backends including
Elasticsearch and OpenSearch. This release delivers unprecedented flexibility in
deployment, independent horizontal scalability, and modern containerization support—all
while maintaining the familiar SQL interface.
