IBM TechXchange New York WebSphere User Group

The New York WebSphere User Group started in April 2000 and has contact with over 1000 WebSphere users in the NY metropolitan area. We are proud to be one of the Premier WUGs.

 View Only
On October 4th the NY WebSphere Users Group will have a busy mid-day at the IBM office at 590 Madison Avenue.  We'll lead off with Dave Sudlik talking about what IBM's acquisition of Red Hat means for both companies (and you).  We'll also hear about IBM Cloud Pak for Applications (ICP4A)(https://www.ibm.com/cloud/paks/)and Kabanero (https://kabanero.io/)

After lunch, we'll hear about the latest from Alasdair Nottingham on Open Liberty, which is at the core of
ICP4A.

To close out, we'll have some time for you to try out the Open Liberty Guides (
https://openliberty.io/guides/) that show you how to create and consume RESTful services using Liberty and MicroProfile.  We'll have a bunch of IBM technical folks in the room to answer questions and help you out if you get stuck.
