Abstract:
In today’s rapidly evolving enterprise data landscape, flexibility, scalability, and control over infrastructure are critical to success. IBM Db2 Warehouse (Db2WH), a high-performance and scalable data warehousing solution, enables organizations to leverage the Bring Your Own Cloud (BYOC) model—allowing seamless deployment on preferred cloud platforms such as Azure, Google Cloud, AWS, or private cloud environments, without compromising on performance, governance, or integration.
In this webinar, we will dive into the architecture and key components of deploying Db2WH using the BYOC model on Azure. Attendees will gain insights into how BYOC empowers enterprises with greater control, security, and operational flexibility.
We will also present a live demonstration of the end-to-end deployment process, including data plane setup and provisioning of a Db2WH engine instance, providing a practical walkthrough of how organizations can efficiently onboard and manage their data workloads in a BYOC environment.

Joined IBM as a Software Developer with the Hybrid Data Management division under the Data and AI organization in December 2024. He has been a key contributor to the Bring Your Own Cloud (BYOC) initiative for Netezza and Db2/Warehouse, working across both frontend and backend layers. On the frontend, he has developed and enhanced the Admin Console UI using IBM Carbon Design System with ReactJS, improving user experience and workflows. On the backend, he has built and integrated BYOC APIs and Golang-based microservices, focusing on API reliability, efficient service integration, and delivering a consistent user experience across the platform.
Shravani A Majali
Joined IBM in December 2024 as a Software Developer within the Hybrid Data Management division, specializing in the Bring Your Own Cloud (BYOC) initiative for Netezza and Db2 Warehouse. She has played a key role in the backend development, end-to-end testing, and delivery of three engines across two major clouds, focusing on high-performance BYOC APIs and microservices.
