Hi All - We are looking into building bots utilizing BI/RPA tools to help us with uploading our files to Apptio each month. We upload over 70 files a month and we are looking to save some time in this area. We are also building tools to optimize our data files and environments. Has any had any experience in creating Bots that interact with tools like Apptio? Any suggestions? Thanks!

We have built a BOT that picks up an excel files from a network drive, turn it into CSVs and loads them on the Apptio datadrop system.  From there, we have scheduled datalink to pick up the files and load into Apptio.  This was the best way for us because our firewalls and security would not allow Apptio to pick anything up from our system but us loading onto theirs was a great work around.  The files themselves are scheduled through BOBJ scheduler to load onto the drive.  So essentially, all our files run on their own.  We do this for financial files, timecharge, headcount and applications.
