Hi Bastiaan
True, it is sad that at IBM they are not in favor of sharing these connections, only for a few days, technology allows this to be done without problems.
We are looking at the possibility of obtaining the data through the open data portals that the AEMET has in Spain (National Meteorological Agency) that in the end can give me the result that I am looking for. It will take some time but we will be able to obtain data on the weather in the past, which is what we want to observe for our studies.
If you want I can keep you informed of my progress with this topic.
Best regards

Hi Luis,
Our dutch customers also ask for a trial key or a "special" Cognos customer key with less functionality. According to IBM the Netherlands they don't offer a free key and you have to pay for it.
I think it is a missed opportunity that IBM publish a sample zip on their website and that first you have to pay before you can use it. The Weather Company is also an affiliate company of IBM so there must be a way to satisfy the loyal Cognos customers.
Regards,
Bastiaan

Subject: The weather company samples
Hello
I wish I could try the examples from the weather company.
For this I need an API ID to access the database of The Weather Company.
Is there a test identifier to connect to this data?
Thank you
