    After updating to version 106 of the Excel add-in of Planning Analytics for Excel, there is a new behavior with the Viewer pop up window. 

    If I click anywhere else on my screens, the Viewer window minimizes. Am I the only one that finds this infuriating?

    After some research, I found that update "2.1.11 - Feature updates, May 30, 2025" has an "Enhancement to cube viewer interaction" update, which "You can now easily navigate back to the workbook from a cube viewer in IBM Planning Analytics for Microsoft Excel without having to manually minimize the cube viewer".

    However, it doesn't just minimize if I click on the Excel window I have it opened on, it doesn't when I click on it. Furthermore, I don't want that functionality if I click on the Exxcel window that is associate with. I am happy to minimize the Viewer popup as needed. This update is slowing down my workflow significantly.

    Wondering other people's opinions on this. Also wondering if there is a place to go to make suggestions on changes to suggest removing this feature.

    Yes, I also find it infuriating. I missed seeing / connecting it in the update notes, thought it might have been something with Excel.

    We're still on a 2.0. version and I'm seeing this behaviour with 2.0.104 PafE. Thanks for the hint though, I'm going back to .98!

    There is a workaround if you are on 2.0.106 or later.

    You can update your tm1features.json and set "r106_DisableWebView2Minimize" to true.

    Obviously not ideal to have to implement for each user but until there is an option within the addin itself, this may have to suffice.

    Also, as with all of these flags in the tm1features.json, be sure to test in a non-production environment, E&O.E. etc. etc.
