  • 1.  SPSS trial expired before academic deadline – guidance requested

    Posted 30 days ago
    Hello,

    I hope you are well.

I am a university student who used the IBM SPSS Statistics public trial, which provides a 14-day trial period. Unfortunately, the 14-day trial expired a few days before I was able to complete the required statistical analysis for my coursework.

My assignment deadline is December 16 at 11:59 PM (AST (UTC+3)). I kindly request, if possible, a very short extension or temporary reactivation (1–2 days only) strictly for academic purposes, to allow me to finalize my analysis and submit my assignment on time.

I understand that trial extensions may not generally be provided. If an extension is not possible, I would sincerely appreciate any official guidance or help me.

Thank you very much for your time and consideration.

    Hi @Yousif Alsayegh,

Unfortunately, the trial period of 14-days for the IBM SPSS Statistics Digital Trial is definitive.  Extensions are not given for the trial license.

    Alternatives:

Regardless of the source of purchase, academic pricing is available -- https://www.ibm.com/products/spss-statistics/gradpack

Beyond purchasing the software, do you have a friend or colleague with an active instance of IBM SPSS Statistics?  Perhaps your instructor or a friendly lab monitor could give you access to a licensed system so you can complete your work.
