I don't see how this could be conducted.
By default, the hardware/capacity scan is repeated every 30 minutes.

This is not doable.
hardware scan needs to root account to collect data from SMBIOS (UUID/SerialNumber etc.)

Hi there
I am trying to configure the disconnected scanner to run under a non-root user as per security best practices and company policy.
I have successful software scans but hardware scans are failing silently somewhere in the process and causing VM Manager to not get imported to ILMT due to servers missing UUIDs in the Partition ID column of the Hardware Inventory report.
Has anyone successfully implemented this? Any insight would be much appreciated.
