please provide  difference between root certificate and signed certificate, as both of them are used by the browser as trusted certificates can we understand them  as same in terms of terminology.

  Difference bettween root certificate and signed certificate.
 
  You can have a chained certificate. In this case:
 
    Root certificate
      sub-entity 1
        sub-entity 1.1
      sub-entity 2
      
  With the root certificate someone can sign a Certificate Signed Request (CSR) and then it become signed certificate. You have done recently
