Hi 
I am running into issues with tabs being renamed in PAW Version 73, yet not being recognised with their new names, when the workbook is saved, closed and re-opened.
Navigation buttons also do not appear to recognise the renamed tabs.

I have attached a short video showing this behaviour.

Has anyone else come across this issue ?

I tried in different ways and am able to resolve as well as replicate the issue. 
I would agree that this is not expected behavior. I would recommend you to log a PMR support ticket with IBM so its on the radar for being fixed.

Hi Armand,

There are 2 open defects raised against PAW 73 in regards to tab rename behaviour:

PH44195 WORKSPACE BOOK TAB TITLE IS NOT SAVED WHEN BOOK IS SAVED
PH44423 WORKSPACE ACTION BUTTON NAVIGATION SELECTION DOES NOT SHOW UPDATED TAB RENAMES

For PH44195 there are 2 workarounds:

1. Hit Enter instead of clicking away after entering the title for the tab.
2. Open Dashboard properties > Tabs > Individual Tab Styling > Click on the Tab and update the Title. Save the book.

Armand - It seems that renaming the first tab took, but tabs 2 and 3 did not. What about a save and close between naming tabs? Additionally, what happens if you add new tabs? Do they persist? It could be some sort of tab name cache issue.

Hi Matthew, 
This is the existing defect that is going to be fixed. 
However I tested the Enter workaround on the multiple tabs in the book and the tab names did persist and were displaying as entered in different supported browsers.
