  • 1.  Possibilty to hide "Filter" from Dashboards by URL Parameter / or Dashboard Default setting?

    Hello to the Experts,

    we want to use all available space for our dashboards. (Version: 11.1.7 FP3)

    Therefore we have the need, that when we open the dashboard, the "Filter" Option (global & tab filters) are hidden.

    Is there a URL Parameter or even an option in the dashboard to do this?

    Hi Thomas, 

    As per IBM, if you hide the filters pane and save the dashboard, then the next time the dashboard is opened the filters are collapsed by default. There are no parameters available to hide them via URL.

    Hi Thomas,

    You can add this extension (Exclude_Filterdock.zip), it should solve your issue.

    Go to Manage > Customization then click on the Extensions tab. Click on the Upload Extension icon and add the attached extension.

    to hide "all" filters for all dashboards with this extension is not a solution for us.

    But thanks anyway for this extension. We would need some flexibility to enable / disable this per dashboard.
