Hi Asgeir,
We encounter a similar situation as your question nr. 2 recently after moving from PA Cloud to PA Local. We found that, depending on the type of report used on the Excel file the connection information is saved on the file and as users would open their copies of the Excel reports, the old connections would get added causing confusion and the 'RECALC_' issue too. This specifically happens with Exploration Views or Quick Reports.
When old connections are added to the PAfE Options, you would need to 'Update' the connections on that file. Here is the IBM link with the instructions on how to do it: https://www.ibm.com/docs/en/planning-analytics/2.1.0?topic=settings-utilities
Hope this helps.

I found the solution to question nr. 1.
Ref or circular errors somewhere in an open Excel sheet prevent the DBRW function from working in any open Excel sheet.
I also found the solution to question nr. 2.
Connections are managed through Options, and then the IBM tab.

Hi all!
I have a problem with an Excel document, created by someone else.
- In this document, I get no result from DBRW, just the RECALC_ indicator in cells
This happens in all open Excel documents when this one is also open.
What could be the problem here?
- There are multiple congnos and TM1 connections.
If I open/create a new Excel document, only the last one (Planning) I created appears.
How can I remove or delete unwanted connections?

Thanks, Asgeir
