Pause-less GC: Achieve SLA Compliance Without throttling throughput

If you've ever struggled with unpredictable GC pauses, you know how they can impact applications with strict response time requirements. Stop-the-World pauses in traditional garbage collection can potentially lead to SLA violations and inconsistent performance. Pause-less GC, a new mode in the Gencon policy, addresses this by parallelizing the collection of short-lived object, spreading out those pauses. The result is, up to 44× reduction in average GC pause times and up to 3× improvement in throughput1 - helping maintain SLA compliance, and the ability to sustain high throughput without throttling throughput-delivering smoother, more predictable response times.
