Greetings,

We had a CSHS for adding case in BAW 20.0.2, this CSHS was exposed via URL and we used this service through URL without having to login to BAW Case Client. 
We have now done the upgrade to BAW 21.0.2 and we have been getting the below message :

"The Custom CSHS is missing an input variable 'caseClientTabID'. Either create a new custom CSHS or add a new input variable named caseClientTabID and configure the 'Add Case Button' view with this variable. " 

I see this new parameter 'caseClientTabID' got added to the configuration of Add Case Button in the new BAW Version.

If we use this CSHS from the Add Case Button in BAW Case Client then it works.
How can we fix this and use this CSHS from a URL outside of BAW Case Client

Hi Lakshya,

Yes, as part of the BAW 21.0.2 release, the new variable was introduced in the Add Case CSHS. The variable is default available for the default Add Case CSHS in the toolkit post upgrade to BAW 2102. Any new custom Add Case CSHS created post BAW 2102 also will have the variable included. But for the Add Case Custom CSHS from BAW 20002 it has to be manually Added.

The new variable was added for handling
- Processing of the workflow till end completion event.
- To handle the closing of opened "Add Case" Tab based on the completion event as its separated complete event to Add case coach handling(caseClientTabID ref ID is maintainded f).

You would need to create/add the new input variable for the Custom Add Case CSHS with name "caseClientTabID".
You would not need to pass the parameter or parameter value for "caseClientTabID" in the URL if you are using it outside of case client.

You should be able to progress by creating the new input variable as mentioned above in the Add Case CSHS. Please let know if you need more information or see any further issue.

I have set the "caseClientTabID" to "' as I have to use this outside Case Client i.e via URL
I have a CSHS where on a page I have dragged and dropped the Case Properties Widget and Add Case Button. In the configuration section, I have specified the Target Object Store Name and Case Type.
When I run the Coach I get an error "InValid Data" and below is the screen shot from browser debugger :


This was working like this in BAW 20.0.2 and giving the issues in 21.0.1
Could you please suggest​​
