  • 1.  Not able to start MWS 9.8

    I did a fresh installation of MWS 9.8 on Linux machine.

    After installation , I did the initialization and then ran startup.sh file to bring the MWS up, However MWS is not getting up. Below logs available in _problem file.

    “No class loader found for java.util.serviceloader.load(interface javax.servlet.servletContainerInitializer”

    Can someone please let me know what could be the reason for this error.

    Hi,

    is there anything related to this in the profiles/<instance>/logs/wrapper.log or _full_.log?

    On the other side, 9.8 should not be installed with new installation despite for migration purposes as the 9.8 version is out of support.

    Hi Holger,

    We are installing 9.8 MWS for migration purposes.

    In wrapper.log file below entry I found

    "Shutdown port listener disabled: Required property com.softwareag.platform.shutdown.port is not set or empty "

    In full.log, below entries are present

    "No class loader found for java.util.serviceloader.load(interface javax.servlet.servletContainerInitializer”

    and

    “framework:fatal dbintegritycheck exit code: 2”
