    I'm having trouble removing unwanted spaces in a Sterling MapEdit transformation for a 204 EDI file. The client's element delimiter contains a special character, and despite trying Trim functions, spaces still appear in the output.

    Could someone please help me troubleshoot this? Here are a few specific questions:

    • How can I ensure the Trim function correctly interprets the special delimiter?
    • Are there particular MapEdit settings to check in the Input Card or global variables?
    • Any tips on debugging to locate where the extra spaces are introduced?
