I am trying to implement Maximo health at a site. The data they have will not support using the OOB formulas. My goal is to create a simpler system. As an example, they do not have installation date on the vast majority of assets. Can I replace those with simpler versions of MTBF, MTTR,  etc. ...? Can the formulas omit the installation date.? Have not been able to get that to work.

With custom formulas, contributors etc. it should be possible.

1. Installation date from the asset is one of the key entity for many health and prediction insights. If you would like to change install date behaviour of the oob helath insights, the option is to customize health using MAF
2. You can bring the custom insights/scores using Maximo Formulas if you do not want to disturb the oob insights. 

Thank you for the reply, I understand the importance of the install  date. However, I probably cannot get that resolved. Was thinking of using the Assets first downtime date as a workaround. It is not perfect, I know. Would it be difficult, (or even possible) to to use a different date in the calculation?
