IBM TechXchange: Informix Technology Days 2025 on March 12 & 13, 2025

The Informix Technology Days will take place at the IBM Watson Center in Munich. All types of (potential) Informix users are cordially invited.

At these IBM TechXchange Informix Technology Days, users of Informix database systems have the opportunity to learn about new features and best practices for the successful operation of Informix. Customers and partners have the opportunity to network with each other and address all their questions directly to experts from the laboratory or support.

For example, lectures will be held on the following topics:

• Informix news & roadmap

• Best practices with Informix

• Deep dives on special topics

One of the speakers this time will be the Chief Architect of Informix - JC Lengyel.

Presentations on the morning of the first day will be in English. Presentations in the afternoon will be in German. Most of the slides will be in English.
On the second day, March 13th, we plan to hold hands-on labs. Alternatively, there is the opportunity to discuss various current topics. You will need your own laptop to take part in the hands-on labs.

Originally the event was planned as an on-premisses event only. But there were several requests for online attendance. Therefore, we are considering making some of the sessions available online. I will let you know when it has been decided whether / which sessions will be made available online.

We will make the sessions by JC Lengyel on Informix news and roadmap at the Informix Technology Days in Munich also available via Teams for remote participants. The sessions will be on Wednesday, 2025-03-12 between 10:00 am and 12:15 pm Central European Time. Anyone interested in participating remotely should send me an email to andreas.weininger@de.ibm.com before the start of the session.
