    ๐Ÿ“ŒUpcoming ATG Webinar Sessions:

๐Ÿ“† Accelerate with ATG: Revolutionize Data Storage for AI and the Enterprise: What's new with Storage Scale for 2026 โ€“ 1/27/26 at 12:00 PM ET
High Performance Computing (abbreviated as AI) requires high-performance storage, and Storage Scale is IBM's flagship Global Data Platform for the unstructured data that AI and enterprise computing require. But IBM keeps improving Storage Scale and its hardware relative, the Storage Scale System. With the recent emergence of Storage Scale 6.0.0 and the Storage Scale System software stack 7.0.0, now would be a great time to join the Advanced Technology Group for this session and learn about some of these recent changes. Register today!

๐Ÿ“† Accelerate with ATG: IBM Storage Ceph 9.0 Update โ€“ 2/3/26 at 12:00 PM ET
IBM Storage Ceph is an open-source software-defined storage solution that supports block, file, and object storage services in a single unified platform. Join the Advanced Technology Group for a detailed update on the latest IBM Storage Ceph 9.0 enhancements in the latest feature release. The key topics will cover RADOS core enhancements, as well as updates to Ceph's NVMe block and S3 object storage services. The presentation will also introduce a new level 2 topic that will focus on the new "Fast EC" Erasure Coding capability in the Ceph data protection rulesets. It is highly recommended that the participant have a basic understanding of IBM Storage Ceph or, in the alternate, a viewing of the following IBM Storage Ceph demos. See the 10-minute recorded demonstrations of the IBM Storage Ceph Dashboard. Register today!

๐Ÿ“† Accelerate with ATG: IBM Storage Fusion - Migration from VMware to Red Hat OpenShift โ€“ 2/19/26 at 12:00 PM ET
Virtual Machines are a mainstay in the modern IT infrastructure. And data center managers now have a choice of virtualizations options. However, it can be challenging to switch from one platform to another. But not anymore! In this Accelerate webinar session, we'll show you how easy it is to make the move to RedHat OpenShift Virtualization. We'll discuss how Fusion and Red Hat OpenShift Virtualization can provide a full data management solution for your VM applications. We'll also provide a live demo on how to create, migrate and delete VMs. Join the ATG Team on February 19th at 12pm EST to learn more. Register today!

๐Ÿ“† Accelerate with ATG: Protecting OpenShift workloads with IBM Storage Defender & Fusion โ€“ 2/24/26 at 12:00 PM ET
RedHat OpenShift provides unparalleled capabilities in managing large scale Kubernetes clusters, but how do you protect your critical containerized applications? How do you protect key information needed to recover an application to a running state after a failure? Do you have critical persistent data that needs to be protected in a clean recoverable state? How do you control the necessary steps in rebuilding an application in the correct order? This session discusses the challenges in protecting containerized applications and how intelligent software allows you to correctly protect an application so that it is recoverable in a variety of circumstances. We will also discuss the different concerns when protecting containerized applications or VMs running on OpenShift Virtualization. Register today!

    ๐Ÿ“† Accelerate with ATG: IBM Storage Fusion 2.12 - What's new โ€“ 2/26/26 at 12:00 PM ET
With the new 2.12 code release, IBM Fusion continues its evolution into IBM's premier application modernization platform. This new release brings hardware and software enhancements designed to improve the time-to-value in deploying AI, ML and hybrid cloud workloads. Join the Advanced Technology Group on February 26th for our upcoming Accelerate to learn more. We'll cover key updates such as flexible GPU configurations, new services available through the Fusion UI and operational improvements around multi-cluster management. Register today!

    ๐Ÿ“–New IBM Redbooks

๐Ÿ“ŒIBM Storage Scale System Introduction Guide: This IBMยฎ Redpaper publication provides an overview of the IBM Storage Scale and IBM Storage Scale System (Formally known as IBM Elastic Storageยฎ Server (IBM ESS) and IBM Elastic Storage System (also formally IBM ESS)). These scalable, high-performance data and file management solution, are built on IBM Storage Scale technology. Providing reliability, performance, and scalability, can be implemented for a range of diverse requirements. The latest IBM Storage Scale System 6000 is the most innovative system that provides investment protection to expand or build a new Global Data Platform while integrating with existing storage. The system allows enhanced, non-disruptive upgrades to grow from flash to hybrid or from hard disk drives (HDDs) to hybrid. IBM Storage Scale System can scale up or out with two different storage mediums in the environment, and it is ready for technologies like 200 Gb Ethernet or InfiniBand NDR-400 connectivity. This publication helps you to understand the solution and its architecture. It describes ordering the best solution for your environment, planning the installation and integration of the solution into your environment, and correctly maintaining your solution.

๐Ÿ“ŒIBM TS7700 R6.0 Cloud Storage Tier Guide: Building on 25 years of virtual tape experience, the IBMยฎ TS7700 now can store virtual tape volumes in object storage. This IBM Redpaper publication helps you set up and configure the cloud object storage support for IBM Cloudยฎ Object Storage or Amazon Simple Storage Service (Amazon S3). The TS7700 supported offloading to physical tape for over two decades. Using a TS7700 to offload to physical tape is a process that is used by hundreds of organizations around the world. By using the same hierarchical storage techniques, the TS7700 also can offload to object storage. Because object storage is cloud-based and accessible from different regions, the TS7700 Cloud Storage Tier support essentially allows the cloud to be an extension of the grid. In this publication, we provide a brief overview of cloud technology with an emphasis on Object Storage. Object Storage is used by a broad set of technologies, including those technologies that are exclusive to IBM Zยฎ. The aim of this publication is to provide a basic understanding of cloud, object storage, and different ways it can be integrated into your environment. This publication is intended for system architects and storage administrators with TS7700 experience who want to add the support of a cloud storage tier to their TS7700 solution.
