I just formatted a power with IBM i stand alone that had a mirror at the level of NVM (fabric) pair cards, I couldn't find a way to recreate that mirror, and I configured the traditional mirror that the manual comes with, it is protected but, how do I configure the another mirror at the level of even cards?

Each unit of NVMe device comes with its own "card" (disk controller). When you do RAID 10 (disk mirrorring) between the set of namespaces (each of which appears to IBM i as a disk unit much like a LUN from SAN server) created from one NVMe unit against another set of namespaces from another NMVe unit, it simply and effectively is "card" level mirroring as well.  IBM i SST menu provides a convenient way to do this for NVMe device - option 4 from the menu below:

Be sure to create sufficient number of namespaces (disk units) as IBM i dislikes too few disk units.  I use my personal rule of thumb of at least 8 disk units (SSD/NVMe) per P8/P9/P10 CPU core in the LPAR.  For IBM i, the more disk units, the merrier disk access performance.

Hi Miguel, 

As Satid says, more namespace (disk-unit) is better, as a best pratice with NVMe device, IBM recommands namespaces of 200Go or 400Go for IBM i, but 200Go seems to have better performance in benchmark.
