  • 1.  IBM BOB subscription pricing and signup

    I'd like to subscribe to BOB since I am satisfied with the functionality but I haven't been able to find a link to what the cost is or even how to subscribe.  Is that in place yet?  Most of the links I have found take me to the trial signup page.

    Thanks.  I guess I am jumping the gun.  I did come across a signup page which sets the subscription price at $60/mo for a Pro account, just wondered if there were other tiers.  Claude is around $17/mo and Chat GPT is around $20/mo so I was wondering if something at a similar price-point would be available.   Here is the link I found: https://www.ibm.com/store/en/us/products/EIDRFRSJ

    There are other tiers, including lower cost ones similar to what you stated for Claude and Chat GTP.  I can't disclose those prior to the GA date unless IBM has made them public.  It can be difficult to compare the different tools since the pricing isn't going to work out to an equivalent amount of work performed by the agent.  The $60/month tier gives you 160 Bobcoins which equates to 80 million tokens.  It's shouldn't be too long before all of the price tiers are announced! -TMS

    Hello! You're actually right on time. IBM Bob is currently in Tech Preview, which is why most links point to the trial signup.


    According to the latest announcement, the official General Availability (GA) is expected around March 24, 2026. While a Pro account tier at $60/mo has been spotted in some early store listings, official tiered pricing is usually finalized at launch.

    Since the tokens are not resetting and the GA is expected around March 24, any way to bridge that gap?
