a business partner has implemented EDS to fulfill the client requirement that the choice items for choice lists need to be defined externally (not as static choice lists within CPE). They are using codes (as values) and corresponding display names (shown in the UI) which are controlled by EDS.

Issue: When showing the results of a search, users only see the code (=value) stored for the property as opposed to the display name.

Question: Is it possible to trigger EDS when displaying the result of a search in order to force EDS to translate the value to its display name?

If not, which other option would exist? A response filter?

Per my understanding, I think a response filter of /p8/getDependentAttributeInfo can meet their requirement.
