For the large size of the xxxxxxxx_CONNECTR.log file, we recommend checking the TWSCCLog.properties file. If the trace level is set to DEBUG_MAX, it will generate significant data.
If you no longer require deep diagnostic data, we suggest switching this setting back to the default INFO level. This will reduce the rate at which these logs grow.
IBM Workload Scheduler has a script for environment maintenance, called rmstdlist.
This tool removes standard list files based on their age.
The script cleans up files within the stdlist/traces and stdlist/logs directories, as well as job logs.
You can use this script to manage the space, but we advise reviewing the rmstdlist documentation first to ensure the retention settings meet your operational requirements.
Note: There is no native IWS function that automatically performs file compression for these logs.
