    Hello Team

    Good day

    Need some help to explore a solution where a client is using multiple modular tape libraries from DellEMC ( ML3 ) & they use Thales CipherTrust manager as a KMS to encrypt the drives & tape itself.

    Now the customer wants to consolidate all the smaller libraries into a large enterprise class lib like TS4500.

    As TS4500 does not support KMIP, in order to make this consolidation possible we have been asked to come up with a solution to export all the keys used by other tape lib to encrypt the media & then import it on to IBM GKLM, so that the older tapes can be read on new TS4500 without any issues.

    I have tried to reach out to multiple resources but unfortunately haven't been able to get a certain response that we can do it & it will work/ solution.

    Has anyone come across such a scenario & can guide me to a process or solution to make this happen please.
