    Hey,

that should be a task for the feature customization pane of a role. Just go to Manage -> People -> Accounts -> Cognos and hover over the right user role, click on the more menu and select "Properties".

There you'll see a "Customization" tab. Click on it and click on the link next to "Features":

A new pane will slide out and then go to Classic viewer -> Toolbar -> Save. This should deactivate the icon in the classic viewer. If you use the interactive viewer, then make the same steps with "Reporting".

    Hello Srinivasulu,

Robert explained the UI customization very well. I just wanted to add this to Robert's note:

To ensure users cannot perform these actions even if they find a different way to access the feature, you should adjust Capabilities.

To remove the ability to edit reports, go to Manage > People > Capabilities. Locate Report Studio and remove the Execute or Traverse permissions for the 'Everyone' group, replacing it only with necessary roles.
Save Button: Removing the Write permission for a user on a specific folder or dashboard will typically disable their ability to save changes to that original content.

    Thanks,

    Abbas
