when we are providing  ssl to IHS we get three options in the ikeyman.sh like signer certificate,personal certificate,&personal certificate request what is the difference between them.

when we are providing ssl to IHS we get three options in the ikeyman.sh like signer certificate,personal certificate,&personal certificate request what is the difference between them.

Personal certificate --is also called self-signed.means signing the certificate by ourself.

Personal certificate request-->To get SSL certificates from CA(Certificate Authority) like verisign,entrust,thawte etc,we have raise a request. which is having certificate information.

Signer Certtifacte--> Server certificate (self signed or CA certs) have to store client trust store. all trust store certificates are singer certificates.

ex--You mobile contacts(frnds nums) are signer certificates to you. each frnd number is signer in ur contact list.
