I am seeing new trending issues with iOS enrollments. We experienced these same issues yesterday with a different customer.
1. Today we are enrolling 50 iPads for the customer referenced in this ticket, using DEP and VPP. There is a significant delay in the installation of apps being pushed to the devices by MaaS using configured distributions. All apps are VPP and there are adequate licenses in their inventory. This is taking as much as 45 to 120 minutes to complete. (we are pushing about 25 apps)
2. The second significant delay is in MaaS seeing updated device information. For example, at the device itself, all apps are installed properly. In the MaaS dashboard it still shows pending installs for these apps for an inordinate amount of time up to several hours. 3. The MaaS app which is set to auto install is not installing consistently on each iPad as well.
We have confirmed the client's Wi-Fi is rock solid and all connections are strong. We have even limited the number of active device connections on their network to ensure the load is not too heavy for connectivity.
