I wanted to share this possibility that i set up this morning: connecting BOB directly to an IBMi !

I wanted BOB to be able to document complete processing chains, but the version i had was not connected to my IBMi.
So I asked BOB to create an MCP server based on the IBMi connection already existing in CODE FOR i...

After a few authorization requests, BOB managed to create its own connection, and it works perfectly !

The prompt used was really very simple:
Create an MCP server to connect to the IBMi (existing ibmi "CODE FOR i" connection: my_connection_name)

Note:
- I had to install Nodejs so that BOB could create its MCP server.
- I used BOB's ADVANCED mode

I'm actually surprised more shops haven't discovered this extendibility yet Jerome.  We had an MCP server reading and writing native source, and accessing DB2 data back in November.   We connected using SSH.
