  • 1.  Cognos 11.1.5 - Fine Tuning

    Posted 05/08/20 10:46 AM
    Hi all,

I would like to know if there are some officials document, white paper, whatever, around fine tuning of Cognos 11.1.5 (and upper) on a Windows Server (here, 2016). Something I could use as reference in order to ensure the settings are correct and we are using the best as we could the capacity of the current environment.

    Any idea?

    Thank!

I actually find this a decent starting place, it follows the typical sizing framework that's worked for many years.  https://pmsquare.com/analytics-blog/2020/4/10/t-shirt-sizing-your-cognos-environment

    Hi guys,

Thanks to all for your very interesting links and resources.
We have been looking at them, and will keep some information as basis for the next environments we may need to implement.
I find "curious" that the documentation provided by IBM in this case looks (to me) more high level / generic, while we can find more detailed / more technical info in other sources ..

    Kind regards
