AWS Services (RDS, MSK, Redshift and CloudWatch) Not Visible in Instana SaaS Despite IRSA & AWS Plugin Configuration

    Hi Team,

    We have configured AWS monitoring from our AWS ROSA cluster using IRSA and a dedicated IAM role.

    Details:

    • Instana SaaS

    • Instana agent running as DaemonSet (MCSP managed)

    • OIDC enabled and IAM role successfully assumed

    • AWS plugin enabled in agent configuration

    • Region: us-east-1

    • No AccessDenied errors in logs

    We can see ROSA/AWS infra metrics, but RDS, MSK, and Redshift and CloudWatch entities are not appearing in Instana.

    Hi Mahesh,

    I suggest to go and create an IBM Support case so they can help you troubleshoot the issue, you are going to need all possible details and logs you can provide for a quick resolution.
