Plan-Level Access Control: Bulk Publish Enhancements 

We've improved Plan-Level Permissions to make it easier for administrators and Budget Process Owners to manage and apply user permissions across plans. 

What was the issue 

Previously, managing permissions at the plan level did not have an efficient way to publish those permissions across all plans or sync them back to global Cost Object Permissions. This often required manual updates, increased the risk of inconsistencies between plans, and made it difficult to ensure users had the correct access at scale. 

What's improved 

Admins and Budget Process Owners can now select one or more permission rows from Plan Settings > User Permissions and publish them in bulk to all plans or to Reference Data. From the overflow menu, select: 

• Publish selected permissions to all plans
  • Applies the selected user permissions across all plans 
  • Existing permissions for matching users and departments are updated.
  • Permissions for new users in matching departments are added. 
• Publish selected permissions to reference data
  • Publishes the selected permissions to Cost Object Permissions reference data, keeping global permissions in sync with plan-level changes.
