App Connect Professional support for Internet Protocol version 6 - IPv6:
What is meant by ACP does not support IPV6?

Does it mean that boker can't support IPV6 network traffic or does it mean that IP addresses within the activities can't be IPV6?

Can the broker be configured to use IPV6 addresses? Is there a way to use DHCP for data / management network and use a hostname that actually is an IPV6 address?

We have not yet fully tested either App Connect Professional or App Connect Enterprise with a dedicated IPV6 networking stack (as in not dual stack with both IPV6 and IPV4 networking stacks present) so up until this point we have not made any claims regarding support for this, although it is entirely possible that the products may still work in this kind of environment. There will be cases where configuration of network addresses are passed through the product and result in instructions to the core OS/networking stack without the product itself needing to change the addresses, so it is possible that configurations may "just work". Regarding the philosophical question of what support for IPV6 network traffic would mean, for full support of an IPV6 environment, it would mean that whereever an IP address is specified in product externals, it could be done in the notation syntax of IPV6 addresses and the product (App Connect) would continue to function in the same fashion as if a standard IPV4 address had been used.
