I'm here because I would like to become a data scientist of course ...
I've seen  that it is very important to be part of a data scientist team for whom would to search some hiring opportuniites like an intern for example   ...
So I'm very motivated to integrate a data scientist community in order to be guided by experts

Absolutely Luis and welcome to the IBM Data Science Community.

It is critical to accumulate multiple dimensions in the Data Science journey - skills, passion to know, interest level for various approaches/methods, building experience by leveraging skills learned, applying skills/techniques to solve various business use cases and so on. Being part of a community like this, not only gives direction, but one can also be focused on his/her growth strategy since there are too many areas within Data and AI and it is important to plan one's own strategy based on past experience, background, passion level, future aspirations etc.

Welcome @Luis Zefania! There are some really good resources in our AI Learning group, including a webinar recently held for community members that details the Data Science Certification program that we run in conjunction with Coursera. Here's a thread around that topic including a link to the webinar replay: https://community.ibm.com/community/user/ailearning/communities/community-home/digestviewer/viewthread?GroupId=5059&MessageKey=35bc5d0f-36aa-4d86-bbb8-e56904309a1c&CommunityKey=d388e552-3a57-460d-911b-8da3b9e1e497&tab=digestviewer&ReturnUrl=%2fcommunity%2fuser%2failearning%2fhome

    Cheers!

use what I had learned to solve a real-world problem that had a lot of data. (2,500,000 rows before grouping.) I did an ML project of my own to solve a problem we were having at work. As Ana said, hands-on work is very important. The Stanford course uses MatLab (or a similar open source language). Thanks for the information.
