Is it possible to run a hierarchical multiple regression in the Complex Samples package? I know how to do so in the normal SPSS, but I can't figure out how in Complex Samples. I'm guessing (if it can be done) it has to be through syntax, which I'm far from fluent in...

There is a CS equivalent to GENLIN, but if you want a CS mixed model, you are out of luck.

I'm a newbie, but I don't believe I want a mixed model-- I just want to run a multiple linear regression but put my predictor variables in one at a time (step-wise). (I'm trying to see if one of three different assessment types better predicts academic success.)
    Thanks!!

The CS equivalent of GENLIN does not do blocks of variables, but you can do that manually.

p.s. As you are new to the CS procedures,  you might want to go through the CS Case Studies, which are available in the Help system.

Thank you for the suggestion! I'm having trouble finding them, however. Could you provide a little more detail how to find the Case Studies. I've looked through the Help tab in SPSS as well as on IBM's website.
    TIA!!

In the help system, make sure Table of Contents is visible.  Then scroll down to Case Studies.  Click on that and then on Premium Edition.  You will see the case studies for all the CS procedures.

I know this thread is a few years old now. Much like the OP am hoping to use mixed model analysis with a complex sample. I was wondering if any of the updates since the OP have allowed for this capacity.
